Glass Furnaces for Melting and Fritting
Before production, Shenhua Glassware melts high quality glass raw material - silica sand, soda ash, limstone together with other addictives in a glass furnace at around 1,600℃ aiming to provide our clients with premium glassware, this is the most important reson that our glassware is more transparent when comparing with our competitors.
Custom Glassware Production
- For large volumes of machine made glassware, such as drinking glasses, candle holders, bathroom accessories and glass bottles, the molten glass is cut and then shaped in a mould.
- For small quantities of handmade glassware, such as thick drinking glasses, weighted whiskey glasses, thick water and beverage glasses, bathoom accessory and spirit bottles, the molten glass is dipped by glass craftsman and then fed it into the mould.
- For premium handblown glassware, especially ultra thin wine glasses, whiskey glasses, cocktail glasses, champagne glasses, etc, the molten glass is dipped by the glass craftsman and then blow it in a mould by a metal tube.
Finished Glassware In the Cold End
After the custom glassware are made in the mould, the glass will be placed on a long annealing oven for 2-5 hours to be cooled slowly so as to remove the internal stress, make the glassware stronger and prevent it from breakage both during transportation and daily usage.
